070 Personal Numbering Service

Ordered this product since callers are charged a standard 5p/min regardless of day or time (unlike 0870 or 0871 numbers where charges vary depending if it is peak or off peak times).

Setup was within mins of ordering, incoming calls were routed correctly and outgoing caller ID shows correctly.

Siptalk service works perfectly (no noticeable downtime). National, European and North America calls have landline audio quality (Asia can be a little dodgy, but can't tell if this is down to PSTN breakout over there). Peering with FWD also 'just works' with a 71 prefix.

Only thing that is missing is a true voicemail service (with message waiting indicator).

Since using this service we have had little use for our BT landline.

Nice (4.5/5.0) - only marked down for lack of voicemail.
