Aastra 480i IP Phone

First Impressions for this phone have left me with mixed feelings. The out of the box experience was marred by the struggle to find the user and administrator passwords. Certainly any person pilfering these phones will probably give up trying to use them very quickly unless they are experienced in internet searching. After finding the relevant details and opening the user and admin web browser pages, there has been more trauma.............. BUT the battle has been won with two voip accounts. So far not with VOIPTALK although the discussions are in there very early stages (29.12.2007) and no criticism of VOIPTALK is implied.

When the problematic issues are resolved I will post another review ASAP............. Because I like the large relatively easy to read LCD display. It is quite easy to read in very varying lighting conditions.
