I could not for the life of me work out what the difference between the various Handytone devices was, but am very glad that I got this one. It has a pass through connection to a standard telephone line, which means that by dialling a prefix you can choose either a VOIP call or a regular call without having to swap phones around. It also continues to work as an ordinary phone even if the power or network connection fails. Really nice piece of kit. :-)
