SurfinBird IX68 ADSL Air GW2

Rating:

We have been using an IX68 for business use, for about 12 months now. We have an Asterisk system
on the LAN that supports 2 offices and runs 10 phones most of them Grandstream 2000 and cisco's.
The unit also allows 4 computers (in our case) asdl connections to the net.
In this time the unit has functioned perfectly 24/7 and has never been turned off or had to be rebooted. It comes standard with 7 (from memory) licenses, meaning you can have 7 ip phones connecting out to the net. The Asterisk system and all its phones count as one. Extra licenses can be bought on line. We use voiptalk for our sip services and there is no breakup of voice calls no matter how many phones are in use at the same time. Any computers that are connected to the net at the same time the phones are in use have their bandwidth cut back to allow the phones perfect speech. All this on a 1Mb asdl connection.
The only drawback, the unit is very hard to set up, even with the help files available on line. We arrived at our settings by trial and error.
