1) Download the softphone and save it onto your local drive
2) Double click on the setup icon
Please select the "14 Day Trial" option. If you have purchased an easySPEAK Softphone License then please select the Full option.
3) Once installation has completed, the softphone installer will launch. From
here you have 2 options:
a. If you have an existing voiptalk account then put in your details and click on the Log In button.
b. If you are a new user then click on Create New Account. The softphone will then connect to the VoIPtalk network and retrieve a voiptalk id for you. It is important that you enter your correct email address so that the VoIPtalk network can send your account login details. Once your voiptalk id has been retrieved then click on the Log In button to start using easySPEAK.
4) To test your phone, try the following:
a. Dial 901 to hear your balance. If you are a new user you should have 20p allocated to you.
b. Dial 902 to hear a test message.
c. Dial 903 to hear your voiptalk id
d. Dial 905 to test your microphone settings.
e. Dial 908 to listen to the telephone number which has been allocated to you.
Installing the full version of VoIPtalk easySPEAK:
To install the full version you will first need to uninstall any trial version of easySpeak you may have installed. Simply click the Uninstall VoIPtalk easySPEAK Softphone option on the Program menu under the VoIPtalk easySPEAK Softphone folder.
Make sure that you have your license key ready. You will receive this once
you have purchased the full version.
