Grandstream Auto-Setup

This free service enables anyone with a Grandstream IP Phone or ATA and a VoIPtalk account to automatically provision their device. Simply fill in the details below, wait 5 minutes, and then reboot your phone. Dial 902 to verify that your phone has been correctly configured following reboot. If this is the first time you are using this service, please check the instructions below.

1. Plug your Grandstream into the LAN and obtain the phone's IP Address as follows: - Budgetone users press MENU then the DOWN arrow and MENU again. The phone's IP Address should appear on the phone's screen. - Handytone users (Handytone must be plugged into the LAN and connected to an analogue phone) press the button on the Handytone, you should hear a menu prompt announcement on your analogue phone. Dial 02 and you should hear the IP Address. For quicker Handytone setup, pick up the handset attached to the Handytone, press the button on the Handytone device, dial 06 and at the prompt dial 217014138004. After you have done this you can reboot your Handytone by simply powering the device on/off. Doing this means you do not need to follow the remaining steps.

2. Type the web address into a web browser on a local PC and you should see the following login screen:



Type in the default password admin and press Login. The configuration page should appear.

3. Set the TFTP server address as per the image below:




4. Click UPDATE at the bottom of the configuration page then click to view your changes and then click REBOOT. Make sure you click UPDATE before REBOOT to make sure your changes are implemented correctly.
