VoIP Softphone Setup Guide

A Softphone is a FREE downloadable computer screen-based phone which works like an ordinary telephone keypad, enabling you to easily make and receive calls, and pick up your voicemails too.

All you need to do is download the SoftPhone and essentially you can use any Laptop or PC as a functioning telephone! For the privacy of an ordinary telephone, buy a headset or USB phone and plug straight into the PC!

Since the Softphone is based on screen, remember that your phone will only be "on" when your PC is "on"!

Once you have downloaded a Softphone, such as the SJ Labs Softphone provided above, the software simply needs to be installed and configured using your VoIPtalk account ID and Password.

After you have configured your Softphone successfully, you can start making calls!

Now you have your VoIPtalk account and Softphone set up, don't forget to top up your account with Call Credit so you can make outgoing calls!
