VoIP FAQ

Are there any numbers I cannot call using VoIPtalk? Can I make calls to directory services and emergency services such as 999 or 911?

You can call almost all numbers as you would from a regular phone. To be able to make emergency calls you must register your address against your incoming numbers. You can do this by logging into your VoIPtalk account. The number must be assigned as your caller id so that emergency services can best deal with your call. Access to selected directory service 118 numbers are provided. For a list of 118 numbers available on VoIPtalk, please visit the UK Directory Enquiries Destination in the prepay silver section of the VoIPtalk tariffs page. VoIPtalk also currently provides all of its subscriber's access to a speaking clock by dialing 9123.
