I now have this unit working and it's excellent. Be warned, though, you must order the RJ11 adapters if you want to use a DECT phone with it. I simply plugged my existing Phillips digital cordless phone into it and it was dead! I got onto the internet where you can find plenty of user forums giving good advice, but it was the help desk at voipon.co.uk (where I bought the unit) that came up with the answer and sent me two RJ11 adapters by return. Apparently the wiring is different...
Also, the HTTP web interface wasn't activated by default, so I had to use the inbuilt voice prompts to switch that on before I could log into the unit with my PC.
Finally, the instructions aren't great, however if you have a bit of common sense you can probably work it out. Linksys should get a few people in who have never used VOIP before, like me, and observe their trials, then get to work writing a clear and easy instruction manual.
Now I've worked it out, it now works a treat, with generally excellent call quality, plugged into a new iDect X1 cordless triple-pack. Wireless VOIP all around the house!
